Bird Flu Vanishes??

November 30, 2007

Have I missed something here or did the H5N1 virus suddenly just go away in Indonesia?  According to Mizzina News, there is a cover up of the bird flu in Shan State located in Myanmar (Burma),  near India.  They report that the bird flu is spreading fast there and it is being purposely concealed. They further report that some of the officials are taking bribes from the farm owners to not cull their flu stricken birds.  www.mizzina.com

This report is very troubling and I have to wonder if something similar is going on in Indonesia.  The pattern has been, months of people being infected and bird flu deaths were reported almost every ten days to during these past few weeks the H5N1 virus suddenly vanishes?  News about this virus has been too quiet lately. Is information being withheld because of the recent bird flu virus sample dispute?  How can this virus simply vanish? This is disturbing to think about because if it is true and information is being withheld in Indonesia then this poses a terrible risk to the whole world.

There are now five different forms of this H5N1 virus out there according to news reports. So is now really the time to stand back and play games with this dangerous thing?  I understand the position of the Government of Indonesia since they want to make sure they will get the vaccine when it is created but what if this thing mutates and no one knows it? I do not recall reading anywhere that Indonesia has been fully cleared of  H5N1. What is going on with this bird flu virus?

Personally, I find this frightening because this avian flu virus has mutated many times and is still doing so.  While we are on some sort of news blackout, it is possible that this virus could jump again and go into full pandemic form without anyone knowing it has happened.  With officials covering it up in some countries and no news from other countries about what is going on, this bird flu virus becomes an increasing deadly concern for most of the world.  It could sneak up, attack at any time and we may not see it coming.

America’s Psychic Challenge – Lifetime Television

November 29, 2007

 www.lifetimetv.com

I have only seen parts of these shows but I have to admit I was impressed.  Michelle Whitedove did a wonderful job when they took her to the hotel that had been set on fire.  She was able to feel the emotional pain in the hotel and knew that there had been a fire there.  I like the way she presents herself and the manner in which she reads people, always warm and welcoming.

I thought the challenge trials they gave the psychics were very difficult.  The one where they had to go to the closed door rooms and tell if there was someone physically present in the room was okay. But the one that impressed me the most was when they had to go into a room and tell what illness a person had.  As a psychic and medical intuitive, I knew how hard this challenge can be to achieve.  To be honest, I was very impressed with the results.  I thought Jackie Barrett did very well on this one.  It is very hard to walk into a room with people you do not know and tell them what you can find medically wrong with them in the few minutes you have to do it. The very limited time makes the psychic task even harder.

The one part where the psychics had the organ donor test was also a very hard challenge.  I like to walk off and not hear what is going on in the program to then try to pit myself against the challenge as well.  It did not shock me that no one picked up accurately on the transplant, but Jackie Barrett was close in her assumption. The mother and daughter bond seemed strong between them as they shared something special, a kidney and saving a life though it was not correct.  However, it was a beautiful connection between those two women thus making it easy to trip up a psychic with.  I also like Jackie’s truthfulness.  If she can’t get something psychically, she says so.

The winner will be a toss up on the program but I am going with Michelle Whitedove.  Jackie Barrett is very good and impressive but each psychic has their own specialty psychic talents.  I bet the psychic challenges on this week’s final episode scheduled to air Nov 30, 2007 will not be easy.  Best of luck to both of the semi-finalists on the program.

2007 Psychic Predictions Updates

*  We will head into a depression.

Nov. 7, 2007 (Bloomberg): Dollar Slumps to Record on China’s Plans to Diversify Reserves The dollar fell the most since September against the currencies of its six biggest trading partners after Chinese officials signaled plans to diversify the nation’s $1.43 trillion of foreign exchange reserves. The dollar fell against all 16 of the most-active currencies, declining to the weakest versus the Canadian dollar since the end of a fixed exchange rate in 1950, a 26-year low against the pound and a 23-year low versus the Australian dollar. The New York Board of Trade’s dollar index dropped to 75.21 today, the lowest since the gauge started in March 1973. By Agnes Lovasz and Stanley White

Nov 15, 2007  WASHINGTON (Reuters) by Mark Felsenthal: Consumer prices up sharply as jobless claims rise. U.S. consumer prices rose briskly last month on energy costs, but outside volatile energy, inflation was largely contained, leaving room for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates to bolster a slowing economy. A second government report on Thursday showed an unexpectedly steep rise in initial claims for jobless benefits last week, a suggestion the labor market is softening as the economy lumbers under the weight of a housing downturn, tighter credit and higher energy prices.

Nov 24, 2007: by Michael Barbaro – Bargains Draw Crowds, but the Thrill Is GoneAmerican consumers flooded stores yesterday on the traditional first day of the holiday shopping season, but the irrational exuberance of the Black Fridays of the last five years has been replaced by pragmatic restraint. With an uncertain economy, a slowdown in the housing market and high gas prices hanging over their heads, consumers flocked to discount chains like Wal-Mart, Target and Best Buy, brandishing bargain-filled fliers. In a reversal from years past, they largely bypassed more expensive retailers, including such powerhouses as Nordstrom, Coach and Abercrombie & Fitch, according to shoppers and merchants interviewed around the country. The nation’s retailers are making the same prediction, expecting this to be the weakest holiday shopping season in five years. NY Times.

* Tensions with Iran will heat to a very bad boiling point and war will be threatened

Nov 18,2007: (CBS/AP) Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez warned the United States on Saturday that oil prices could more than double if Washington attacked his country or Iran – part of a provocative opening address here to a rare OPEC summit.  “Oil is an energy for development, it should not become a tool for conflict and emotions,” said Abdullah, a strong U.S. ally.  Chavez used his position as the summit’s opening speaker to further his faceoff against the U.S. “We are witnessing constant threats against Iran,” Chavez said. “If the United States attempts the madness of invading Iran or attacking Venezuela again, the price of oil is probably going to reach $200, not just $100,” Chavez said. While Iran has been in a standoff with the U.S. over its nuclear program, left-wing Chavez is a bitter antagonist of President Bush. “We are witnessing constant threats against Iran. I think OPEC should strengthen itself in this capacity and demand respect for the sovereignty of our nations, if the developed world wants a guaranteed supply of oil.” Meanwhile Irans President has vowed that if the United States dares to attck his country he will attack back.  AOL NEWS

*  Food prices will take sharp rises.

Nov 15, 2007:  WASHINGTON (Reuters) by Mark Felsenthal- Consumer prices up sharply as jobless claims rise. Food prices increased at a 5.5 percent annual rate in 2007, compared with a 2.1 percent rise in 2006.

Nov 22, 2007: Thanksgiving Inflation: 11% – A Thanksgiving Day turkey dinner with side dishes and dessert will be 11% more expensive this year, the biggest annual increase since 1990, because of depleted frozen-turkey supplies and rising energy prices. The average cost of 12 items typically served during the Nov. 22 holiday in the U.S. rose to $42.26 from $38.10 last year- The American Farm Bureau Federation.

Bird Flu Sharing Summit: Money versus value of humanity

November 25, 2007

This morning I read some of the items discussed at the Geneva Bird Flu Sharing summit and it made me want to throw up.  What does it all boil down to? Money of course as everyone is scared they are not going to get their financial share.

Article excerpts taken from:

(Final) Day 4 of flu virus sharing summit by Effect Measure  –

US Deletions and an insertion

While US and EU participation here are most notable for being totally devoid of any new ideas, deletions to text proposed last night (22 Nov) and this morning (23 Nov) say quite a bit about US intent. In discussion of principles with respect to intellectual property rights (i.e. patents), the US proposed to delete everything. According to the US, patents in influenza and influenza vaccines should be discussed elsewhere. This obviously did not meet with approval from other delegations, so the items were bracketed. But with so much support for the language raising concerns about patent claims on influenza, lifting some of the brackets was eventually proposed. Unbowed, the US replied “We are not today and essentially never prepared to remove brackets around whole items.”

And last night (22 Nov), when it came to discussing benefits for developing countries from the WHO system, the US inserted “voluntary” around many kinds of benefits. Given the opportunity to remove “voluntary” today, the US insisted that it stay.

Notable Appearances

#1: Heretofore elusive Vietnam took the floor today and expressed support for proposals by Thailand and Indonesia. (Note this was a generalized expression of support, as there are nuances that separate the positions of the latter two.) In language similar to that of many other developing countries, Vietnam asked for urgent development of a new system for virus access and equitable sharing of benefits based on sovereign rights of member states.

#2: India, which has also been quiet, waded into the fray as well and expressed its displeasure with the current system’s inequities, especially patent claims. India’s proposals on virus sharing were aimed, it said, to ensure that “/nobody takes more than their share of the benefits and takes away from the rights of the contributors /[of viruses].”

#3 And China, which has been engaged but not overly talkative, piped up more on Friday morning, in particular, advocating technology transfer and establishment of WHO Collaborating Centers in developing countries. (Full disclosure: China would like to have a CC itself.)

I read this article over and over this morning and was appalled.  Everyone is so worried about the patents ( demand of ownership and legal maneuvering to secure profits) for this darned avian flu virus that something is getting lost in this equation, the people.  Come on, their families are at risk from this thing too, no one is bullet proof here.  How is this summit to be considered a success when all that has been accomplished was fighting and squabbling over who gets the most and who is going to get their fair share. I am clueless.

I don’t know,  maybe I am wrong here as I felt the most important thing was to make sure people get the vaccine shots to be well, not who gets the most benefit from them.  I know money has to factor in someplace but should it be the most important factor? While they sit there and play their word games, mind games and scream about who is entitled to what, the H5N1 bird flu virus is spreading into more regions throughout the world and gaining strength.  Personally, I hope that they get their ducks in a row before it gets us all.

Alternative Dimensions and Universes

November 18, 2007

Tonight I was watching a program on alternative dimensions or realities on the Science network.  Much of the program was based on the string theory which used 10 dimensions to make universal things work. However, the theory failed until they added the 11th dimension which made things work but only in conjunction with the “M” theory.  The “M” theory states that all universes are in a membrane and even then it would not work until alternative universes were added to the equation.  This really got me to thinking.

Now, I am not a physicist, far from it. I can’t do complicated math at all, but I can think and reason things out.  Ok, we are energy beings and once energy is created it can never be destroyed according to physics.  This being the case then when we die, we have to go somewhere.  I have heard people say there can not be a heaven, or a hell, or any other place like them as we have been into deep space and there is no sign of it.  That may be but are we so arrogant as the dominate species to believe that all realms have to be identical to ours and all beings have to be just like us?   Now what if there are energy forms in a parallel dimension that we are aware of.  They come through to us but we cannot enter their dimension in our current human state as flesh and blood. So only as an energy form would we be able to enter?  If the soul, being the life energy of the body, can inhabit the body until the body ceases to be able to contain it, next it is released in a pure energy form then it stands to reason that it would be able to go to places where a human body could not get into.  It is like trying to physically squeeze an orange through a straw.  It will not work until you get rid of the body and then the juice will go through the straw with no problems.

Do I believe there is a soul?  Of course I do.  How could I not?  We are taught as little children that the human body is a machine.   Every machine has to have an energy source to make it run.  The human body breaks down, can be mended or repaired and put back into the world but when it has reached critical mass, it melts down and ceases to be.  Now, if there was no such thing as a soul, or an energy source, then what could keep the body running forever?  We can keep old machines going as long as we have the parts so why not a human body?  We sure have enough parts to keep them going but once they die no matter what you do they are dead, gone and can’t be restarted…ever.  Why is this?  The energy source of the body is no longer there and it has nothing more to run on.

People scoff at aliens, the soul, ghosts and so forth but I have to wonder.  Could ghosts actually be inter-dimensional beings?  Perhaps we run across the barriers once in a while and there is a clash or meeting between the two realms? It would make sense if everything is in accordance to the “M” theory that there would be meetings like these of parallel universes or dimensions.  The life forms in these dimensions may be just as shocked and terrified of  other energy encounters as we are.

star.jpg

There may be another one of you, somewhere in another universe, dimension, time or space.  That is not to say that the person is the same as you.  There may be different laws there, different morals and judgment values.  The “you” may look like you but not act or be governed by the same rules that you are here.  Knowing that the universes actually do exist is amazing in itself but the things that happen in them can be unlimited.  It sure can explain a lot of the things that we deem paranormal Then I have to wonder how to cross the barriers of these dimensions? I believe it can happen and may have happened a few times like with JR. Tolkin who claims the Lord of the Rings was written off something he had seen.  He claims to have stepped into an alternative reality and witnessed these things.  Many other people have claimed to cross into these other realities but it is not something which happens frequently.  Could it be some type of energy flux that allows this to happen? A vortex maybe or a smashing of the membranes that allows a temporary access to these realms?

This is something which I am sure some of the greatest minds will be churning over for a long time.  I have a bachelors degree in science but hey, like I said a physicist I am not.  I am just someone here who has a trillion things going through their head.  Trying to imagine what these universes may be like, what rules they have, what life forms govern them and if it is possible that at times we collide with them.

Nov 09, 2007: Wachovia, the nation’s fourth-largest bank said it faced a $1.1 billion write down for October alone. Investors also were rattled by speculation that Barclays PLC was about to announce a $10 billion write down, though the U.K. bank denied the rumors. He also said the dollar’s weakness “may have some effect on import prices” – which was confirmed Friday in new government data. The Commerce Department reported U.S. import prices soared last month at their fastest pace since early last year. “The extent of the situation is unknown, and that uncertainty doesn’t give investors any reasons to believe that a bottom might be in place,” said Todd Salamone, director of trading and vice president of research at Schaeffer’s Investment Research. Bird Flu, the real facts?

November 5, 2007

indonesia.jpg

Picture of bird flu corpse being removed from the hospital

Today I was reading about yet another death in Indonesia from the bird flu and I had to ask myself what is going on?

I started remembering the man in China who contracted the bird flu. Initially they did not know where he got it from. To this day we have not heard anything else about this man since.  I had to wonder what the actual death count of people from H5N1 is.  How many people fall into the category that they were buried before being tested or they do not know how they were infected. Next, all is quiet about the bird flu victims in the press and nothing more is written.

Then I thought about how many wrong diagnoses there may have been, how many bird flu infected people were not reported? How many others exist than those verified with tests actually have had the bird flu and counted on the list?  I even remember reading somewhere that they thought some of the people who had SARS may have actually died from H5N1, but have heard no more about this either.

It really made me wonder what is actually occurring.  How much do we honestly not know?  It was possible to keep human to human transmission out of the press for over a year (even though people suspected it was such). So what else is currently being kept out of the press ?

Now I have read a report where it can be passed human to human but only among close family members or people who are in really close contact.  Then I recalled hearing about two nurses who were suspected of getting the bird flu after taking care of a H5N1 infected patient. To date, I have heard no more about these nurses and what was their fate?

So what is the real truth?  How many people have had the bird flu and been omitted from the list?  How many actual cases of human to human transmission have there really been?  I remember a few like the mother who held her H5N1 infected young child as they died and got it, the uncle who cared for his niece in Iraq and got the bird flu from her, a few reported clusters in Indonesia. But still we are led to believe that there is just one.  There are also the some cases of people who contracted the bird flu though there were no H5N1 cases reported in their area. Somehow, all of these articles seem to come out then get swept silently under the carpet very fast.

Information is about this bird flu so scarce, scattered and censored.  Not a lot of what we read is the entire story.  I am glad there are many reporters out there who dig for the truth and try to get the news to the people.  Forget about causing a panic, just give us the facts.  Do I want to know what is really happening?  Yes, but will I? Probably not at least until the history books come out with its account of the facts on the H5N1.  However, even then we may never know the whole story.
