* Many people are asking me what is in store for them for this winter.  In some of the regions winter will jump start and come in very early.  Expect a strange winter with tons of snow hitting some of the regions and very mild temps in others.  I am worried about a massive storm which will blanket most of the country.  Freezing temperatures and large amounts of snow will fall and many states will be affected.  Parts of the country will plunge into the deep freeze and there will be very, very cold temps. 

* There will be an upsurge in the number of people infected with the H5N1 (Bird flu) virus as the virus continues to spread. 

 * There will be an electromagnetic storm which does a lot of  damage. 

 * Movement will be detected at a volcano in the United States, it is by a large populated area. 

* There will be a fiery plane crash very, very close to a major city. 

 * Something is unsettled with the waters. There may be an increase of ships in distress or problems with the waters concerning ships, boats, illness, or the aquatic life.  

* Expect some weird events this fall and winter, like tornados, freak storms, lighting strikes, things out of the ordinary. 

* A US Embassy will be attacked. 

* Flu season will be wicked this year.

* Kentucky people (as well as Ohio, Michigan, Idaho, Kansas) watch out for very strong storms in the middle of the summer, July, August etc.  Until it snows, be alert. 

Update: Aug: 21, 2007:  Severe weather continues to plague the regions of Ohio, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Idaho today as more severe storms move across these states.  Flooding is reported in several places and many people woke up this morning with their cars under water. The severe weather is expected to continue.  Weather Channel.

* Gas prices will soar by the middle of summer, reaching over the $4.00 per gallon mark.  People will begin to rebel against the gas companies.     

Update: Aug: 21, 2007: Gas prices are expected to rise again.  Most places around the US are seeing gas prices at $3.00 to $4.00 per gallon all ready and as the season heads more to fall gas prices are expected to continue to rise.  CNN NEWS

*As I said in November 2006, expect a lot of activity this Summer for 2007.  Between 3 to 5 large storms will strike land, they may not all be in the United States, but they will hit.   There is one I have been watching for months which is a monster.   

 (TULUM, Mexico (Aug. 21, 2007) — Hurricane Dean  crashed into the Caribbean coast of Mexico on Tuesday as a roaring Category 5 hurricane , the most intense Atlantic storm to make landfall in two decades. It lashed ancient Mayan ruins and headed for the modern oil installations of the Yucatan Peninsula. AOL News

It is not uncommon for psychics to make predictions.  What is unusual with the predictions Pernel makes is the fact that so many of them happen and exactly the way she had predicted they would.  This blog lists predictions that she has made. Update: Prediction Made April 02, 2007: 

* A major bridge will collapse during rush hour traffic and people will be killed. 

Update: Aug: 14: 2007: On August 01, 2007 the bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota collapsed during the rush hour.  9 people have been confirmed dead so far.  44 cars have been pulled from the water and people are still missing. 100 people were injured and 8 are still in the hospital.  The collapse it thought to have been caused by structural problems.  CNN NEWS

Update: Predictions Made June 02, 2007: 

* The heat will be horrible this summer.  The temperatures will continue to be above normal in places and July and August will be particularly deadly months. 

Update: Aug: 14: 2007: It was reported on the weather channel today that the extreme heat is plaguing the Midwest.  This has been the hottest summer ever recorded according to the meteorologist on the weather channel and there is not much relief expected in the near future.  Weather Channel

* Gas prices will soar by the middle of summer, reaching over the $4.00 per gallon mark.  People will begin to rebel against the gas companies.   

Update: Aug 09, 2007: Crude oil reached record peaks of $78.00 a barrel.  Some economist estimate that the price of crude oil may go as high as $90.00 a barrel by the fall.  Rising crude oil prices are driving gas prices through the roof with some places in Calif. reporting pricess as high as $5.00 or more per gallon.  CNN NEWS  

* There will be an extremely strong earthquake, over 7.5.

Update: Aug16:2007:  LIMA, Peru  (Aug. 16) — A powerful 7.9-magnitude earthquake  shook Peru’s coast near the capital, killing at least 337 people and injuring 827, the Civil Defense said early Thursday.  Civil Defense Commander Aristides Mussio released the figures on Peru’s state television station, saying Wednesday’s earthquake killed one person in Lima and 336 in the region of Ica, south of the capital. The Civil Defense death toll of 337 first appeared on its Web site, but the organization’s spokesman, Dario Ariola, refused to confirm the figure, which was much higher the numbers provided by the health minister. But minutes later Mussio appeared on television to announce the new death toll. AOL NEWS

Update: July 13: 2007:  Kansas has been hit with strong storms over and over.  Flooding has caused many problems throughout the state and even caused major oil spills in some areas as it washed the oil out of it’s containers at a foundry.  CNN NEWS

Update: Aug: 14:2007: Several strong storms continue to roll across the Midwestern states.  Tornadoes have been reported in several places and severe weather continues to crop up in Ohio, Kentucky and Kansas.  Weather Channel

Birds from 2 US states banned over bird flu. Aug 8, 2007 The Department of Agriculture (DA) announced yesterday that it has imposed a temporary ban on all imports of domestic and wild birds along with poultry and its products from Virginia and Nebraska following confirmation by the United States of the presence of the avian influenza (AI) or bird flu virus in these American states. The DA said the latest ban was based on a July 23 report submitted by Dr. John Clifford, deputy administrator of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service of the US Department of Agriculture to the Office International des Epizooties (OIE) or Animal Health Organization, on the presence of low pathogenic strains of the AI virus H5N1 in Virginia and H7N9 in Nebraska.Agriculture Secretary Arthur Yap said the ban and other emergency measures were necessary to protect human health and the poultry industry in the Philippines, which has remained free of bird flu. Nebraska poultry barred by five countries  By TIMBERLY ROSS Associated Press Writer Article Last Updated: 08/09/2007 11:46:43 AM CDTLINCOLN, Neb.—Five countries have temporarily banned the import of Nebraska poultry after a turkey flock in Seward County tested positive for a mild strain of bird flu. Deputy state veterinarian Del Wilmot said that the flock shows no sign of illness and was being prepared for slaughter and entry into the food supply. The U.S. Department of Agriculture and trade groups for the poultry industry have said no human cases of bird flu have ever been traced to eating properly cooked poultry or eggs. But officials in Japan, Russia, Turkey, the Philippines and Taiwan, as well as Hong Kong, are taking no chances. Karen Eggert, with the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, confirmed Thursday that those countries have barred all poultry and related products, such as eggs, coming from Nebraska
